Tuition & Fees

TRCA seeks to provide a collaborative, classical, and Christian education that remains accessible to families in our community. Tuition and fees are set annually to support faculty, curriculum, facilities, and the collaborative model while keeping costs as modest as possible.

Tuition (2025–2026)

Some TRCA families may elect to participate in Iowa’s Education Savings Accounts (ESAs). Eligible families may use ESA funds toward annual tuition.

Fees

TRCA’s fees cover required enrollment and family partnership costs.

Fee	Amount	Details
Application Fee	$250 per family	Due with the application and non-refundable. Waived for returning families (including new students within that family) who pay the Deposit / Reservation by January 31.
Family Investment Fee	$1,000 per student	Ensures each family is personally invested in the academy. Paid directly by families and cannot be paid using Iowa’s Education Savings Accounts. Due at the time of the first tuition payment.
Deposit / Reservation	$500 per student	Due upon admission; non-refundable. Reserves the student’s seat and is applied toward the Family Investment Fee. A student is not enrolled until this deposit is received.

All plans must satisfy the Fall and Spring semester deadlines above.

Additional Information

Late Admission
In the rare event that a student is admitted after the Semester Payment due dates (listed above), the full Deposit/Reservation and current semester’s tuition are due immediately. The full Deposit/Reservation of $500 is due, even if the student did not attend during both semesters.
Books, Uniforms & Special Events
Books, Uniforms, and Special Events are purchased/billed separately. Actual amounts vary by student and family.
Exceptions for Hardships
TRCA places a high value on its families and staff. We are careful to avoid shifting costs between families, but to the best of our ability, we will work with families to accommodate unique and unexpected needs that may arise during the school year. Please contact accounting@tworiversclassical.org.
